Account Settings

Learn how to manage your Skippership profile, update account information, and keep your data secure.

Your Account Settings page lets you to update personal information, manage your login credentials, and control access to your Skippership workspace.
Keeping your account details up to date ensures better personalization and security.

Editing Your Account Information

You can access the Account Settings page from the sidebar under your profile dropdown.

Once opened, you’ll see the following fields:

First Name & Last Name

Enter your first and last name. These details are used for personalization in emails and within your workspace.

Your Role

Select your role within your organization (e.g., Product Manager, UX Designer, Developer). This helps us tailor feature recommendations and insights to your specific use case.

Email Address

Your registered email is shown here. It’s used for login and all account-related notifications. If you need to change your email, please contact support.

Country

Select your country from the dropdown list. This is primarily used for localization and billing purposes.

Managing Security

Click Change Password to update your login password.
You’ll be asked to enter your current password before setting a new one.
For better security, choose a strong password that includes numbers, symbols, and upper/lowercase letters.

Delete Your Account

If you wish to permanently remove your account and all related data, click Delete Your Account at the bottom of the page.
You’ll be asked to confirm this action, once deleted, your data cannot be restored.

Saving Your Changes

After making any updates, click Save Changes.
All updates will take effect immediately, and you’ll see a confirmation message once saved successfully.

Important:

Deleting your account will also delete all session replay, insights, and connected projects.
Make sure to export any important data before proceeding.
